Bangkok, Thailand — Sound Software & Human Interaction

Software for people
who work with sound.

PHASECRAFT builds free and open tools for creators, educators and anyone working with sound, and licenses the same technology to companies and institutions. Built by people who have done the production work themselves.

One idea runs underneath everything we build: a trained human gesture — a conductor's beat, a bow arm, a hand moving through air — read by a machine and turned into sound.

As generated content becomes abundant, the trained human performance becomes the scarce part. We build the tools that read it, teach it, and put it to work.

Products

Tools we ship to
people who make sound.

Two tools, each built because the work needed it and nothing on the market did the job. Free to use, and open where the licence allows it.

Systems

Not a claim.
Things you can try.

Audio systems are hard to describe and easy to demonstrate. So rather than say we build them, here are four: two running in your browser right now, one on video, one you can read the architecture of.

Node Synthesis Engine

Can a signal chain stay readable while it is being performed?

A node graph wired against a real-time audio engine. Add oscillators, clocks, filters and effects, drag between ports to patch them, and hear the graph change as you build it. It is the teaching layer underneath PHASEFLOW.

Resonant Field

Can a continuous space be played as accurately as discrete keys?

A spatial instrument: the screen is a tuned field, height sets pitch, position sets zone, and every path through it is a different phrase. Optional webcam hand tracking, processed entirely in your browser.

Interactive audio in FMOD

How does a score follow a player who will not follow the score?

Three built systems, running in-engine: an interactive music system that transitions on game state, a layered attack system where one action assembles from several sounds, and an interactive sound system driven by gameplay parameters.

The TAKEBOX pipeline

How do you make a generative model behave like a production tool?

A local workspace that takes model output and makes it deliverable: every take written as its own file, converted to 48 kHz / 24-bit, sequentially named into a folder you chose, with non-destructive region export and real cost tracking. Your key, your machine, nothing uploaded.

Research Lab

How movement
becomes sound.

We explore how human movement, performance and data can drive responsive audio systems. These experiments test interaction ideas that may later become products, educational tools or licensed technology. Two of them run in the browser below: no install, no plugin.

Camera

One experiment can optionally use your webcam to track hand movement. It is off until you press the camera button, the video is processed in your browser only, and nothing is recorded, uploaded or sent to PHASECRAFT. Turning it off stops the camera immediately.

Node Synthesis Engine
Visual node-graph patching against a real-time audio engine. Wire oscillators, clocks, filters and effects together and hear the graph as you build it: the geometry of the patch drives the timbre.
Question: can a signal chain stay readable while it is being performed? Demonstrates: node-graph audio routing, live re-patching, browser DSP Could become: the teaching layer under PHASEFLOW, classroom tools Status: research prototype · feeds PHASEFLOW

Best experienced on a desktop browser: patching needs drag, double-click and right-click.

Experience

Built by people
who have done the work.

Our products are informed by professional experience across streaming series, international games, broadcast, film, orchestral recording and technical audio. 16 credited productions — and every repetitive, badly-handled step in them is a reason one of our tools exists.

Open Source & Licensing

Free for people.
Licensable for organizations.

We release useful tools openly when doing so helps creators, educators and the wider community. Organizations that need integration, deployment, or terms an open licence cannot give them can work with us directly.

01

Free and open tools

Our individual-facing products are free to use. TAKEBOX is Apache-2.0; PHASEFLOW's engine and file format will be open permanently. You do not need permission, an account, or a conversation with us to use them.

  • No account, no telemetry
  • Source published at release
  • Use commercially under the licence terms
02

Licensing and integration

When you need our technology inside your own product, or on terms a copyleft licence cannot provide, we license it directly and help you integrate it.

  • Commercial licence for closed integrations
  • Engine and file-format integration
  • Offline and on-premise builds
  • Adapting existing PHASECRAFT technology to a specific problem
03

Education and institutions

We work with schools, universities, cultural organizations and research partners on tools for learning, access, performance and preservation, usually starting from something we have already built.

  • Classroom and studio deployment
  • Curriculum and teaching materials
  • Research collaboration
  • Accessibility and public engagement projects

Company

A software company
that came out of the work.

PHASECRAFT is a Bangkok-based software company building specialized tools for sound, music, learning and human interaction. Our work starts from real problems met in professional production, performance and teaching — not from a market gap on a slide.

Our team spent years contributing to productions at an international level, working under established music companies on streaming series, global game titles and live orchestral recordings. The tools came out of that: every one of them exists because something in the pipeline was slower, more repetitive or more fragile than it needed to be.

We still take on selected production and interactive audio work. It keeps the products honest: we use them on real deliveries before anyone else has to.

Our longer research interest is in learning, human performance, accessibility and adaptive feedback: systems that respond to how a person actually moves and plays. That work is early, and we will say so until it isn't.

Sound designer, composer and developer. His work spans Netflix streaming series, international game titles and broadcast media, delivered through established music companies in Bangkok. Works across the full production pipeline — Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reaper — and across the technical side of audio: in-engine implementation, middleware integration, and the systems work most composers hand off. PHASECRAFT is where that turns into software.
